一、教材内容分析
本节课是人教版英语六年级上册第5单元What does he do? A.Let’s try &let’s talk.主要是用What does he/she do ?What do you want to be?询问和回答职业。
二、教学目标
1.能听、说、读、写单词和词组:businessman ,head teacher , country, countries .
2.能够听、说、认读句子:What does he/she do? He’s /She’s a …He often goes to other countries. I want to be a businessman.
3.明白不同职业的不容易与重要性,懂得“职业不分高低贵贱”的道理。
三、教学重点及难点
(一)教学重点
1.能听、说、读、写单词和词组:businessman , head teacher , country, countries .
2.能听、说、读、写句子:What does he/she do? He’s /She’s a …He often goes to other countries. I want to be a businessman .并能在实际的情境中运用。
(二)教学难点
句型He often goes to other counties.和Do you want to be a head teacher?的认读与运用。
四、教学过程
(一)学习理解
Step1:warm up
1. Free talk: What are your hobbies?

Step2: Lead-in

在图片情景示意下,呈现职业名称的词汇和核心功能句,关注音、形、义结合及语用。
2.Let’s find: Can you find the rules?
引导学生自主观察比较,发现构词规律。
(1)部分动词+er,变成名词,如clean(打扫)+er= cleaner (清洁工);
(2)部分以e结尾的动词+r,变成名词,如write(写)+r = writer(作家)。

呈现Let’s try部分的内容及任务
1.Listen and circle.
