一、教材内容分析

本节课是人教版英语六年级上册第5单元What does he do? A.Let’s try &let’s talk.主要是用What does he/she do ?What do you want to be?询问和回答职业。

二、教学目标

1.能听、说、读、写单词和词组:businessman ,head teacher , country, countries .

2.能够听、说、认读句子:What does he/she do? He’s /She’s a …He often goes to other countries. I want to be a businessman.

3.明白不同职业的不容易与重要性,懂得“职业不分高低贵贱”的道理。

三、教学重点及难点

(一)教学重点

1.能听、说、读、写单词和词组:businessman , head teacher , country, countries .

2.能听、说、读、写句子:What does he/she do? He’s /She’s a …He often goes to other countries. I want to be a businessman .并能在实际的情境中运用。

(二)教学难点

句型He often goes to other counties.和Do you want to be a head teacher?的认读与运用。

四、教学过程

(一)学习理解

Step1:warm up

1. Free talk: What are your hobbies?

2.Enjoy a song.

Step2: Lead-in

1.Let's think: What kinds of jobs do you know?

What does he/she do?He/She is a/an…

在图片情景示意下,呈现职业名称的词汇和核心功能句,关注音、形、义结合及语用。

2.Let’s find: Can you find the rules?

引导学生自主观察比较,发现构词规律。

(1)部分动词+er,变成名词,如clean(打扫)+er= cleaner (清洁工);

(2)部分以e结尾的动词+r,变成名词,如write(写)+r = writer(作家)。

Step3: Presentation

呈现Let’s try部分的内容及任务

1.Listen and circle.

T: Today is Parents’ Day(家长开放日).Who will come, Sarah’s mother or her father? Why?

问题引领,任务驱动,渗透听力策略

呈现Let’s talk部分的动画视频及任务

2 .Watch and answer

Who will come, Oliver’s father or his mother? Why?

3.Read and answer

(1)What does Oliver’s father do ?

(2)What does Oliver’s mother do ?

(3)What does Oliver want to be ?

4.Listen and repeat

模仿跟读,读出趣味,培养孩子们良好的语音语调和语感。

(二)应用实践

1.Let’s retell.

提取语篇关键信息,用小语段复述对话大意,发展学生的逻辑思维能力与言语表达能力。

2.Do a survey , and make a report .

Homework

1. Listen to the tape and read the dialogue .
