教学过程

Step1 Warming upGreetings.

Step 2Leading-in

1.Sing a song.What time is it?What time is it?It’s one o’clock.It’s two o’clock. It’s three twenty. It's six thirty.What’s the time?What’s the time?(设计意图:通过听音乐引入,创造轻松学习环境,提高学生学习英语的兴趣和热情。)

2.Show the learning aims.

Step 3 ReviewWe have learned the numbers from 1 to 39.Let’s count together.

Step 4Presentation

1.Time(1)Guessing.It has no feet,but it can walk with its hands.It has no mouth,but it can speak.It calls Tick, Tick, Tick (滴答)every day.What is it ?(Clock)

(2)Please look at the clock.What time is it?Students learn to express the time according to the pictures.

(3)Practice the time.Students say out the time quickly according to the turntable.

(设计意图:复习数词,为学习时间的表达法作铺垫学生根据教师说出的时间利用对比的方法说出其它时间,从认识到感知,再到理解,最后达到掌握的目的。以钟表呈现时间的表达法,达到直观效果通过竞猜时间的游戏,激发学生的趣让学生一开始就积极、主动地参与到课堂教学中来,并进一步巩固时间的表达法。)

(4)Play a game:老狼老狼几点了(规则:一名学生当“老狼”,其他学生当“小羊”。小羊齐问老狼“What time is it?”老狼根据提示快速说出时间可得1分。当老狼说出“Dinner Time”时,老狼快速挑选一名小羊说出时间,说对小羊得1分,错误扣1分。

(设计意图:通过游戏活动的设计,让学生进一步掌握重点句型,也为下一步语言活动的拓展延伸打下铺垫。)

2.Daily Activities

(1)Words①I’m a teacher.I’m very busy.These are my daily activities. Let’s look at them.(get up、get dressed、brush teeth、take a shower、eat breakfast、go to work)

The first time let students read after the tapes.The second time let students read after me.(get get get up,get get get dressed,brush brush brush teeth,take take take a shower,eat eat eat breakfast ,go to go togo to work)(设计意图:以图片呈现短语,直观生动,对短用各种形式进行反复朗读。采用单词配对等活动学生掌握生词的情况,为生词学习作铺垫,达到学生都学会的目的。)

②Play a game(扫雷)(规则:单词下埋着6颗雷,学生选择单词并读出,如果单词下没有雷则可得分,如果有,则不得分,不能重复选择。)(设计意图:让学生在小组合作中进一步巩固所学重点短语。)

③Let Ss match the words with the things to finish 1a,then check the answers.

(2)Sentences①These are my daily activities. I usually get up at 6:05.What time do you usually get up?Lead out the sentences by introducing daily activities of different people.

---- What time do you usually ....? ----I usually …at+时间.

---- What time does he/she usually ....? ----He/She usually…s at+时间.

---- What time do they usually ....? ----They usually …at+时间.

设计意图:让学生在近似真实的语言环境中运用语言,表达情感及能力。

②To practice the sentences.

Group work.(规则:小组以接龙的形式根据图片用所学句型做对话,用时越短,得分越高。)(设计意图:使用What time do you usually ...句型,询问对方的作息时间,通过替换操练,让学生初步掌握所学句型,知道如何作答,同时为培养学生综合运用语言能力打下良好的基础。为后面的学习作铺垫。)

③Listening

Listen and number the things to finish 1b,then check the answers.Let Ss role play the conversation.(设计意图:对学生进行听力训练,并对题目进行适当简化,达到学生不因听力而丧失学习兴趣的目的。利用听力结果进行口语训练,巩固前面所学内容。)

④Group Work

Play a game:To be a reporter(规则:央视记者要来我校采访学生及其家人的日常活动及时间,请组长扮演记者,组员扮演被采访的学生,完成本次采访。)

(设计意图:通过小组练习,再次运用What time do you usually...?句型,通过这一任务的完成,学生在交际的过程中进一步掌握询问和表达时间及作息安排的词汇和句型结构。)

(设计意图:对本节课的目标语言系统总结,让学生再次复习本节课所学主要重点内容。)

Step6Do some practice.

Let students choose different time to answer the questions.(规则:选择不同的时间,完成答题可得0-2分,其中有Lucky choice,不用答题可直接得分,也有bomb,将小组积分扣除0.5分。)(设计意图:通过小组竞赛积分方法,有助于提高课堂效益,树立学生自信心,形成学习自觉性,有助于提供学习过程中体验、合作、讨论、探究的机会。)

Step 7 Homework.

1. Talk about the daily activities and time with your friends. (C层) 小组C层学生和朋友谈论日常活动及时间。

2. Make a report about your family’s daily activities and time . (A、B层)小组A、B层学生报告家人的日常活动及时间。(设计意图:为了让不同层次的学生在每一节英语课学习中都能有成功的体验,个性得到发展和完善,创新潜能得到培养和提高。)
